Photo of the week 15: Wrecked

This weeks photo was taken in early December at the world famous Wreck beach located not far from the campus of the University of British Columbia (UBC). It is an amazing place, with a ton of amazing trials lines as well as a amazing view! If you ever get a chance I highly recommend riding at or near wreck beach. Also if you look closely you will note I said december, this is one of the very few places in vancouver you can do natural trials during the winter months. I think it is due to the constant wind or large amount of sunlight it receives, either way there is almost no moss or fungus on these logs. Basically these are some of the most grippy logs you can find in metro vancouver! Seriously if you get a chance check this area out!

Today’s photo contains a new rider to photo of the week, his name is Neil Phillips. He is a local here in vancouver who I ride with often. Neil has very little fear and loves to rip up natural trials almost as much as me! Expect to see more from this guy soon! This photo was taken by your’s truly Bryan Corry.

Cheers

Bry

P.S this area has been in a number of trials sections…  Can you name the rider and in what DVD(s) it was featured?
